Title: Asparagus Salad Mold

3/4cSugar
1/2cVinegar
1cWater
1/2cCold water
2 Envelopes of plain gelatin
1cChopped celery
2tbLemon juice
1tbMinced onion
4ozJar of pimentos, chopped
1cnWhole green asparagus
1tsSalt
5ozCan of water chestnuts

Combine sugar, vinegar, 1 cup of water and salt. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup of cold water. Remove boiling mixture; add gelatin, onion and cool. Drain asparagus and cut into bite size pieces. Drain water chestnuts and slice thin. Combine all ingredients, put in mold and chill. Randy Rigg
